I am a Person Centred/Integrative Counsellor and have been working in private practice since 2011, helping many clients with a variety of emotional problems. I now work in the Forest of Dean but have previously worked in the Cam/Dursley area and Salisbury area where I also provided counselling for Carers in Wiltshire implementing the first voluntary counselling service for Carers in Salisbury. I also worked voluntary for Cruse Bereavement Care in Salisbury and continue to do so in Gloucestershire as a Bereavement Volunteer and Supervisor  and participated in Life Changes (working with Age UK, British Red Cross and Cruse-Lottery Funded) and have been a volunteer for over  10 years.  I also work with Professional Help and Grief Chat - Complex Bereavement counselling.

My continuous professional development has included training in Stress and Anxiety, Depression, Mental Health and Wellbeing- nature and nurture, the Science of Wellbeing, Flourish, Working Creatively with Clients, Medical and Emotional disorders, Mindfulness, Living Life, Suicide, Self Harm, Abuse, Identity Issues, Dementia, Menopause, Bereavement and Loss both in wider society and specifically within the military, Coping and Adapting to long term illness and much more.

Previously to a career in Counselling I was a Community Nurse and have worked with the physically and mentally disabled and within the Armed Forces.

I am a member of and abide by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework.
